글러브 관리 요령

글러브는 장기간 사용하는 것에 익숙하여져서 편하게 느껴지는 것이 좋습니다.
수분과 오염(더러움)은 가장 큰 적입니다.

새 글러브를 구입하면 , 일단 캐치볼을 많이하여 익숙해지게 합니다.
이때는 포켓부분으로 확실하게 받는 것이 중요합니다.
웨이브나 손끝부분이 꽉 매여져 있으면 형태가 나빠집니다. 어느정도 자신의 형태가
만들어지면 보혁유(保赫油)를 소량 묻혀서 끝마무리 합니다.

예전과 비교하면 가죽 자체가 부드러워졌기 때문에 많이 칠할필요는 없습니다.
오히려 많이 칠하게 되면 글러브 색이 나빠집니다.
완전하게 ORDER MADE 가 아닌 한 부분적으로 자기에게 딱 맞지 않는 곳이 있다는 것이
당연한 일이죠... 글러브는 많은 부분이 끈으로 이루어져 있기 때문에 매듭을 다 풀고 ,
손에 맞게 다시 매는 것이 좋습니다.

자신이 직접 자신의 글러브에 끝마무리를 해나가면 , 더욱 애착을 갖게 될 것입니다.

비 등으로 젖었을 때에는 먼저 가죽 위의 수분을 제거합니다.
헝겊이나 부드러운 종이를 사용하여 흡수하듯이 수분을 닦은 다음 그늘의 통풍이
잘 되는 곳에 놓고 건조 시킵니다.

빨리 마르게 하기 위해 직사광선에 내놓으면 가죽이 딱딱해지므로
금물입니다.
