투심 패스트볼(two-seam fastball)

투심 패스트볼(two―seam fastball)은 검지와 중지를 실밥에 나란히 걸쳐잡는 직구의 변형그립이다. 볼의 궤적은 두 손가락 가운데 어느 쪽에 힘을 주느냐에 따라 달라진다. 통상 중지에 힘을 주는 게 정석. 볼의 궤적은 우투수의 경우 직구처럼 빠르게 오다가 우타자 바깥쪽으로 달아나듯 휜다. 투심 패스트볼을 ‘러닝 패스트볼(running fastball)’이라고 부르는 이유다. LA 다저스 박찬호가 왼손타자를 상대할 때 자주 구사하는 레퍼토리다.

국내에서는 두산 이경필이 투심패스트볼의 대가다. 이경필의 경우 중지보다 검지에 힘을 주기 때문에 볼은 우타자의 몸쪽으로 휘어져 들어간다. 야구 해설가들은 이 볼을 역회전 볼이라고 말하지만 팔꿈치를 비틀지 않기 때문에 투심패스트볼이라고 부르는 게 합당하다.

투심패스트볼의 변형으로 싱킹 패스트볼(sinking fastball)이 있다. 직구처럼 오다 타자 근처에서 가라앉기 때문에 병살타를 유도하는데 안성맞춤이다. 메이저리그 LA 다저스 케빈 브라운이 즐겨쓰는 레퍼토리다.

sperm count is number of sperm per some caitern amount of area I think, like it's an average done or something, so I don't know that it's impossible to increase sperm count. Maybe if a sample was taken sperm could be aritifically moved into a smaller area, this increasing the concentration at a caitern point, thus INCREASING the sperm count in an AREA of the sample, but as for your sperm count in general yeah, I don't think it can be increased. But who knows, I bet an answer proving me wrong has been posted in the meantime.
